New Fantasy Series. Pirates and Vampires?

So I’ve been struggling with JUDGMENT if you haven’t been paying attention to my most recent writing-related tweets, and after talking with fellow author Elana Mudgan about our books and fantasy in general, I’m really eager to get started on the fantasy series that I started to write during finishing up THE DARK WORLD series….

Writing Amidst Doubt

Like any writer, I face doubt. Not often, as I choose to focus on my work and what I’m doing and contributing to literature (not much lol), but as of late, the doubt has crept in and is, for the moment at least, here to stay.

I, for one, LOVE LOVE LOVE fantasy maps in books so as I began setting up all the things to prepare for my release, I decided to contact this awesome designer, The Noble Artist, that I’d followed on Facebook about a year ago.

We agreed on what I wanted, I’d sent him a crappy sketch mock-up I did of roughly what I wanted it to look like. And he, ever the amazing artist, sent me this beauty:
