New Rełease Dates for The Dark World Series!

I was getting out of work when I got an awesome email from Hannah Yancey, the current managing editor/marketing person, and you can imagine my pleasure at it being about my release dates.

They'd (Permuted) sent out mass release dates to all authors on their authors I'd say a year ago or so, that was when I learned my books wouldn't be coming out yearly (like I'd put in my contract), but monthly. They were due to come out February, March, April, May, and then November, respectively of 2016.....

Reading/Writing Horror Erotica?

I just read something from an awesome author friend of mine David Owain Hughes - a new submission for Burning Willow Press, and the five chapters I read have sent me into a tailspin of, yes, pleasure. The pleasure of 'witnessing' horrid acts, but being in the MC's shoes - feeling his pleasure with him as he commits them, well if you're into BDSM that is, and understanding his pleasure.

Repost from S.C.Parris.com: Bloody Work

Bloody Work February 10, 2015 When you’re a writer, especially a writer who is vampire and fantasy-inclined like I am, you often find it…trying to sit down at your desk or couch or wherever your wandering inclination for tea takes…

Creativity At Long Last; Burning Willow Press

I have a lot to talk about in this post as it's been a long time since I've shared, I know. For one, I'm fully moved into my new apartment, and more days at work aside, with classes wrapping up for the third week of December, I have decidedly more time to focus on my goals: ◾Getting The Two Swords to the editor by the end of December, ◾Receiving, and reviewing some fantasy submissions to my dear friend's new publishing company, Burning Willow Press, to which I am the fantasy acquisitions editor. (Call it a fun hobby if you will.) Please send some my way! ◾And lastly, writing to this blog more, sharing more of my writing exploits, and where possible the personal.

REVIEW: Tentyrian Legacy by Elise Walters

5 of 5 stars bookshelves: dark-fantasy, fantasy, romance, permuted-press, vampires, historical-fiction, urban-fantasy Having just finished this book, my emotions are on high. Who doesn’t love a good romance novel? Who doesn’t love a good vampire novel? Who doesn’t love both?…
