So the past few days have been riddled with strange dreams pertaining to The Delacroix Series, but nothing that would inherently influence the way I see the story. One theme has been reoccurring:
Xavier Delacroix has received greater attention in these dreams.
It seems reality is not too far behind.
The other day I received at least three different people showing their interest in my book, trying to figure out how they could go about purchasing it.
And another reader (who has admitted to slowly reading it), has apparently just reached Chapter 5 (or passed it, who knows), for he posted so excitedly on my Facebook page the following:
wtf is wrong with you bringing eleanor back in xavier’s life!!!!!!!!!
Keep in mind, this is coming from someone who wasn’t a fan of Xavier when first introduced to him. The sudden turn around has me grinning like a fool.
This is one of the things I enjoy about writing. My characters’ natures are, not always changing, but their differences make them, I guess is the best way to describe it. I’ve been commended on vivid characters, but to me, of course, they could be better. Something I’m improving on, absolutely, in The Immortal’s Guide, dropping 2 months from now.
With more and more people being introduced to The Dark World and the characters therein, I’m focused on creating a more chaotic environment. I am not adverse to throwing my characters into the fire as it were, just to watch them burn and see what they do to either get out of it or remain there and die (permanently).
And apparently neither are my fans.
🙂
Keep your bite.

P.S.
My New York readers, am I the only one just finding out that 101.9 RXP is back with alternative rock? Because I surely can’t be.
